China Molybdenum Powder Price - March 17, 2020

Molybdenum market quotation in China: the latest prices of molybdenum concentrate and molybdenum oxide declined slightly while molybdenum powder price remained unchanged from the previous trading day when seller's have great pressure on sales. 

Firstly, because more steel companies attended the tender, consumption for ferro molybdenum increased, boosting the confidence of upstream and help keeping firm offers of molybdenum concentrate early this month, but with the quiet of tender, raw material prices start to soften. Secondly, under the influence of negative factors such as a slight slowdown in global economy, the terminal side is weak with low enthusiasm in trading. Most insiders have good expectations for the outlook.
