The chemical formula of purple tungsten oxide is WO2.72. It is named for its dark purple powder appearance. Its crystal form is rod-shaped or needle-shaped, and the particle distribution is relatively loose. It is mainly used to prepare ultrafine tungsten powder and ultrafine tungsten carbide powder.

High-purity ammonium paratungstate is abbreviated as APT. It is the raw material for preparing high-purity tungsten oxide and high-purity tungsten powder. It can be prepared by thermal dissociation and ammonia dissolution. Under high temperature conditions, ammonium paratungstate decomposes to obtain a hydrous tungsten oxide compound that is easily soluble in ammonia water, which is dissolved in ammonia water to obtain an ammonium tungstate solution. After filtering out the insoluble matter, the solution is evaporated and crystallized to obtain high-purity ammonium paratungstate.

Regenerated tungsten carbide powder refers to the raw material used to re-produce alloys after further processing of materials that have been ball-milled or produced into alloys but are unqualified. The performance of recycled tungsten carbide powder is much worse than that of original tungsten carbide powder, and it can generally only be used to prepare low-grade alloy products.

The chemical formula of blue tungsten oxide is WO2.9, and its appearance is dark blue powder.

Blue tungsten oxide can be used to produce tungsten powder, and then to produce tungsten products such as cemented carbide, pure tungsten and tungsten alloy products.

Tungsten dioxide, also known as brown tungsten oxide, has a chemical formula of W O 2 and is insoluble in water, alkaline solution, hydrochloric acid and dilute sulfuric acid. It is a brown monoclinic powder crystal. Tungsten dioxide is unstable and is quickly oxidized to tungsten trioxide in the air. Tungsten powder can be produced by hydrogen reduction.

The purity of high purity tungsten powder is 5N or 6N, and it is obtained by reducing high-purity ammonium paratungstate. High-purity tungsten powder and its silicide are used to prepare metal targets, used as resistance layers, diffusion barriers, etc. in ultra-large-scale integrated circuits, and as gate materials and connection materials in metal oxide semiconductor transistors.

The chemical formula of tungsten disulfide is WS2. It can be used as a lubricant, especially as a solid lubricant under high temperature, high pressure, high load and high vacuum conditions. It performs better than molybdenum disulfide and has a lower friction coefficient and greater compressive strength.

Sodium tungstate has a wide range of uses. In addition to being used to make ammonium paratungstate, ammonium metatungstate, tungstic acid, tungsten trioxide, metallic tungsten, tungsten carbide, and cemented carbide, it can also be used in petrochemical catalysts, electroplating, textiles, flame retardants, water treatment, dyes, pigments, inks, etc.

Tungsten wire can be processed into extremely fine specifications, offering significantly enhanced strength and hardness compared to stainless steel of similar specifications.
