It has been reported that Cs doped tungsten oxide nanoparticles can be synthesized by a unique solvothermal reaction in which water induced by an esterification reaction between alcohol and carboxylic acid can act as a hydrolyzing agent for metal precursors. And the as-prepared CsxWO3 nanoparticles can be used to produce dispersion. Finally, the coating film can be obtained by coating the dispersion of CsxWO3 nanoparticles on one side of the quartz glass. Also, it can be a double-sided coating film by coating CsxWO3 dispersion on both sides of the quartz glass. And the double-sided coating leads to higher multi-functionality.
