Nano Cesium Tungsten Bronze Applied for Windshield Heat Insulating Coating

Nano cesium tungsten bronze has strong absorption of near-infrared light and strong transmission of visible light, so it is often used to study and prepare windshield heat insulating coating. The prepared coating is a new type of smart heat insulation material that is expected to replace the existing ITO glass, according to the experts.

In 2007, some experts adopted high temperature solid phase reaction method to prepare various tungsten oxide and MxWO3 (M=Rb, Cs) tungsten bronze, and studied the transmission spectrum of the film. The research showed that all kinds of tungsten bronze films have strong absorption of near infrared light while ensure the passage of visible light. And the experts proposed that cesium tungsten bronze has near-infrared shielding performance for the first time, which is expected to be used as a smart window in the construction and automotive fields. Recently, some experts have prepared CsxWO3 by solvothermal synthesis method. The transmission spectrum of the film has been studied. The results showed that the film also has good near-infrared shielding performance and is expected to replace the existing ITO glass.
