At present, the research on the optical properties of tungsten bronze is mainly focused on those tungsten bronzes such as tungsten bronzes doped with small radius atoms --- H, Li, Na and Ag. According to literature reports, hydrogen tungsten bronze with the smallest ionic radius absorbs light most strongly, followed by lithium tungsten bronze and sodium tungsten bronze. Studies have shown that the process of optically inserting small ions such as H+, Li+, Na+ into the structure of tungsten bronze is reversible, so small ion injection is expected to be applied in secondary batteries. While the injection of tungsten bronze with large radius ions such as Cs+ and Rb+ is irreversible.
