Ammonium metatungstate (AMT) is a commonly used, relatively inexpensive industrial material that is readily soluble in water and solvents such as N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF). AMT is decomposed at about 300 °C to produce WO3. Specifically, the expert adopts the following preparation method to obtain tungsten trioxide thin film: 200 mg of ammonium metatungstate hydrate is dissolved in DMF sufficiently, and anhydrous ethanol is added. The ITO glass substrate (3 cm x 3 cm) is washed and dried. The precursor solution was spin-coated on an ITO substrate to form a film, and heat-treated to obtain a WO3 film.
