Also, experts said that it is very important to control the thickness of the magnetron sputtering film. Since the prepared film is too thick when the sputtering time is long, lithium ions are inserted into the film to require more time and a larger voltage, and thus the electrochromic performance is also lowered. While if the magnetron sputtering time is short, the obtained film is relatively thin and has not completely covered the FTO conductive glass, so the electrochromic property of the obtained film is poor. In a word, suitable thickness of film during magnetron sputtering should be selected.
