WO3 Electrochromic Film Applied for Electrochromic Smart Window

WO3 electrochromic film for electrochromic smart window can be prepared by electrophoretic deposition. There are more explorations in preparation of tungsten trioxide electrochromic thin films by electrophoretic deposition abroad. And there are relatively rare related research done in China.

But there are still some researches on production of tungsten trioxide film by electrophoretic deposition. For example, scholars at a university studied the preparation of tungsten trioxide thin films by electrophoretic deposition of WO3 sol. They discussed the effects of current density, sol precipitation time, sol concentration, and sol pH value on the thickness of WO3 film. And the effects of film thickness and current density during deposition on the adhesion of the film to the substrate were also studied. Some experts have also used the "improved electrodeposition method" to prepare tungsten oxide film, and studied the post-oxygen treatment method of the film, and the effect of post-oxygen treatment conditions on the electrochemical properties of the film, especially on the infrared reflectivity. The film treated by this method has an infrared reflectance modulation capability of 8%.
