At present, the most popular energy-saving glass on the market is low-E glass. The surface of this glass is coated with silver and metal oxygen (nitrogen) film, which has high reflectivity for far infrared rays with a wavelength range of 4.5-25μm. And the reflectivity is usually larger than 90%. Sometimes, it can be made into a double-layer insulating glass, filled with an inert gas to further improve its thermal insulation properties. However, as the low-E glass technology adopts a fixed static coating technology, the shading coefficient is not adjustable, that is, the radiant heat control of the sun is fixed, and thus the maximum energy saving effect cannot be achieved. The tungsten oxide smart glass is different from low-E glass as it can dynamically adjust the light transmittance of the glass, that is, dynamically control the solar radiant heat, so as to achieve the maximum energy saving purpose.
