Step 1: At room temperature, dissolve 99.99% ammonium tungstate in deionized water, stir on a magnetic stirrer. Take 65% nitric acid and drop it dropwise with a dropper until the ammonium tungstate solution is clear and continue to add nitric acid. At the same time, use a pH test paper to control the solution to become strongly acidic.

Step 2: Put the solution obtained in step 1 into a heat collecting magnetic agitator with constant temperature, heat it to (80±2)°C at 3°C/min, and keep it at a constant temperature of 80°C for 1h, then naturally cool to room temperature. After standing at room temperature for 2h to complete precipitation, it was washed with deionized water for several times and then filtered. The filtered precipitate was dried in an oven at 60°C for 24h. After drying, a pale yellow cake was obtained, which was placed in a crucible. The mixture was calcined at 500°C, 600°C and 800°C for 2h in a muffle furnace to obtain the desired powder.

Step 3: The calcined tungsten oxide nanopowder is placed in a ball mill and ground into a powder for use.
