Yellow Tungsten Oxide Nanoparticles Applied for Heat-insulation Glass Coating

The preparation of yellow tungsten oxide nanoparticles for heat-insulation glass coating is mainly carried out by liquid phase methods such as precipitation method, hydrothermal method, microemulsion method, sol-gel method, and the like. Experts are studying these methods for preparing yellow tungsten oxide nano particles with high quality and excellent performance.

Some experts have dissolved tungsten hexachloride in ethanol, dried at 130°C, and calcined at 800°C to obtain tungsten oxide. Although the method is simple, the obtained tungsten oxide particles are not uniform, so these particles are very easy to cause agglomeration during calcination, thereby affecting the performance of the nanoparticles. Based on this preparation, some experts used tungsten tungstate and nitric acid as precursor materials to obtain nano tungsten oxide with a particle size of about 100nm by chemical precipitation method, and studied the effects of reduction treatment conditions on the composition and spectral transmission properties of tungsten oxide nanoparticles.
