Li Doped Tungsten Oxide Electrochromic Film

Li doped tungsten oxide electrochromic film can be prepared using lithium perchlorate as a lithium source by sol-gel method. Experts studied the changes in the properties of tungsten trioxide films after Li doping and discussed the doping amount.

The ITO conductive glass was used as a substrate, which was cut into small pieces of 2.5cm×2.5cm. The square resistance was 15Ψ. In order to ensure the film forming quality of the doped WO3 film, the substrate should be strictly cleaned before coating. The substrate was ultrasonically washed with absolute ethanol, acetone and deionized water for 20 minutes, dried in a vacuum oven and sealed for use.

First, the tungsten powder is weighed and placed in a beaker to react with hydrogen peroxide, sealed, placed in a 10-15°C environment to be fully reacted, filtered to remove the deposit. The obtained yellow-green filtrate was reacted with anhydrous ethanol and acetic acid, and the prepared precursor was placed in a magnetic stirrer by stirring for 25min. Finally, lithium perchlorate and ethylene glycol methyl ether were added for doping, and magnetic stirring was further carried out for 25min to prepare a sol. The coating is carried out by a homogenizer. After the first layer is plated, it is naturally dried at room temperature. After the second layer is plated, it is placed in a muffle furnace for heat treatment.
