Nano Cs doped tungsten oxide, also known as cesium tungsten bronze nano powder, or Cs0.33WO3 nanoparticles, may be used to prepare a transparent thermal insulation coating. As you may have known, Cs0.33WO3 particles that have been well wetted and dispersed exhibit excellent near-infrared shielding properties. And it is reported that the transparent heat insulation material of cesium tungsten bronze nano particles has a maximum shielding ratio of 96% at 1100nm.

In addition, experts said that environmentally friendly coating of nano grain size cesium tungsten bronze using PVA and PVP as film-forming materials has good visible light transmittance and near-infrared shielding properties. Also, they said that the coating using polyurethane, water-based acrylic emulsion and water-based fluorocarbon resin have excellent adhesion and resistance. Among them, the coating with polyurethane as a film-forming material has a near-infrared shielding rate of about 82%. While the visible light transmittance of such material prepared is relatively low.
