Therefore, experts pay more attention to the preparation of cesium tungstate nano powder. Some experts use ammonium tungstate and cesium carbonate dissolved in water as raw materials. They first dissolve the materials in water, and dried at 180°C, then heat treated in a mixed atmosphere of H2 and N2 (H2 accounting for 10%) at 450-500°C, and then the cesium tungstate powder was obtained by heat treatment in an atmosphere of 500-900°C. However, experts also said that the above method uses hydrogen, its flammable and explosive characteristics increase the cost of powder production, and therefore further research is needed.
