CsxWO3, or cesium tungsten bronze, may be used to prepare transparent thermal insulation material for architectural heat insulating glass or automotive thermal insulating glass. In this regard, some experts said that with the improvement of energy-saving requirements in the era, the application of this new type of transparent heat insulation materials will become more and more extensive. Therefore, the exploration of environmentally friendly preparation methods is one of the research hotspots of cesium tungsten bronze powder. And it is also urgent.
Therefore, in terms of preparation methods, many researchers are fighting at the front. Some researchers have dried a mixed aqueous solution of cesium salt and ammonium tungstate, and then heat-treated at 800°C under H2 atmosphere to obtain Cs0.32WO3 nanopowder, but the preparation process is cumbersome and the utilization rate of raw materials is low. Some researchers used tungsten chloride and cesium hydroxide as raw materials. And Cs0.32WO3 powder is prepared by solvothermal method using acetic acid as reducing agent. However, the raw material tungsten chloride is expensive and toxic, which limits the development of the preparation process. Cs0.32WO3 powder can also be prepared by hydrothermal method using sodium tungstate and cesium carbonate as raw materials and citric acid as reducing agent, but the obtained Cs0.32WO3 powder was irregularly agglomerated, and its thermal insulation performance needs to be improved.
