CsxWO3 Applied for Transparent Thermal Insulation Nanopowder

CsxWO3, which is the chemical formula of cesium tungsten bronze, may be applied for producing transparent thermal insulation nanopowder. In fact, the obtained CsxWO3 powder is colored, not in a transparent state, but appears to be transparent when applied to architectural glass or automotive glass. As you may have known, in order to optimize the energy-saving effect of such heat insulation material, one of the research hotspots of cesium tungsten bronze powder is to improve the thermal insulation performance!
Therefore, in terms of improving the thermal insulation performance, some scholars have pointed out that plasmon resonance on the carrier surface is the main reason for the near-infrared absorption function of cesium tungsten bronze. And the morphology of CsxWO3 powder has an important influence on the local plasmon resonance. Later, F-doped CsxWO3 (0<x<1) rod-shaped nanopowder was hydrothermally synthesized by further adding HF. And it was found that the rod-like structure has better thermal insulation property, and F-doping promotes the formation of rod-like structures. But, what should be noted is that HF is harmful to the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to further explore the preparation process of new cesium tungsten bronze nanopowder and study the influence of its structural characteristics on near-infrared absorption.
