Tungsten Prices in China Remained Stable on Thin Trading

Opening this week, tungsten prices in China continued to maintain stability due to heavy wait-and-see atmosphere and low trading activity of market participants with the approaching of Spring Festival. 

Downstream purchasers enter the market to stock up gradually from the middle of January, but rare deals are concluded. Raw material sellers have strong rised mentality because more and more mines stop production to undergo repair. On the whole, market trading would continue to be thin and thus the outlook remains unclear. Market participants will take a watchful stance in the short term.
