2013.03.07 Waste Tungsten Price Rose Smoothly, Trading Volume Picked up

The tungsten industry rose smoothly for the time being. At present, non-tax prices of waste tungsten blades made in China are at around 168 to 171 yuan per kilogram, prices of importing blades are 178-181 yuan per kilogram, tungsten drills are 187-191yuan/kg , waste pure tungsten blocks are 208-210yuan/kg, waste tungsten grinding material with W content over 70 degree, the ruling price is 1.76yuan/degree, rose 0.03 yuan. For 50-70degree, 1.66yuan/degree, rose 0.03, for 30-50 degree, rose0.07.

Pushed by the increase of guide price, tungsten market keeps warming. The quotation from merchant dealing with waste tungsten material increases, and trading volume begin to pick up slightly. Although no improvement showed in waste tungsten market, merchants are positive to the situation, expecting a short-term smooth growth in the price of waste tungsten.
