Xiamen Tungsten：Tungsten Concentrate Prices Poised to Rise Further

The Tungsten Industry Association of Ganzhou recently announced the guiding prices of wolframite concentrate, ammonium paratungstate (APT) and medium grain tungsten powder for May at RMB 133,000/mt, RMB 200,000/mt and RMB 310/kg, respectively, slightly up from April. Tungsten concentrate prices will likely rise further on stockpiling by the State Reserve Bureau (SRB) and gradual recovery of downstream demand.  Among China’s listed companies, only three cover tungsten industry chain. There three companies are Xiamen Tungsten, Chongyi Zhangyuan Tungsten and Hunan Nonferrous Metal Holding Group. Demand Recovers Gradually The Tungsten Industry Association of Ganzhou hiked the guiding prices of wolframite concentrate, APT and medium grain tungsten powder for May by RMB 11,000/mt, RMB 11,000/mt and RMB 17/kg, respectively from April.
