How to Get a Ring that's Stuck Off Your Finger

A stuck ring can happen to anyone. The problem is the more you tug and pull on the ring, the more swollen your finger will get and the more stuck you ring will get. It may seem as though you’ll never be able to get the ring off. Don’t worry, however. The ring does not have to be on your finger forever. If you try a few simple techniques, you should soon be able to remove that stuck ring.

1.Rub hair conditioner on your finger to help ease the ring off. Hold your fingers toward the ceiling and gently rub the area with the conditioner. The ring should slide right off the finger after a minute or two.

2.Dab a small amount vegetable shortening around the ring and finger. The shortening will make the finger slippery enough for the ring to come right off.

3.Smear mayonnaise around the ring and finger and it should also help you easily remove the ring.

4.Spray a little bit of glass cleaner around the ring and finger and twist the ring gently. The glass cleaner will make your finger slippery enough that the ring should come right off.
