The conventional tungsten core armor piercing  projectile is made of W - Ni - Fe high gravity alloy, the alloy combines W metal with high density, high strength and excellent matrix plasticity. Therefore, it has a series of excellent physical, chemical and mechanical properties, and is the key material of tungsten core armor piercing  projectile.
 
The maximum tensile strength of fine grain tungsten alloy is 1700 MPa, it is about 30% higher than the traditional tungsten alloy, its dynamic mechanical performance was significantly improved after grain refinement of tungsten alloy, The fine grain tungsten alloy is used as a "self sharpening effect" in kinetic energy armor piercing  projectile, so as to achieve stronger penetration effect.
 
Our tungsten armor piercing  projectile has been developed into the third generation of fin stabilized unshell armor piercing projectile, one of the world's most powerful tungsten core armour piercing shells, and only the German DM63 tungsten core projectile is comparable.
