Therefore, some other elements should be added on the basis of the addition of K, Si and Al in tungsten powder, such as Fe, Co, La, Ce and Th to improve the seismic performance of doped tungsten wire, this tungsten wire is called "anti-seismic tungsten wire".
 
Anti-seismic tungsten wires are mainly used in lighting systems under shock conditions, for example, all kinds of traffic lights, special bulb for military use, aerospace engine heating wire and so on, among them, the largest amount is lights for automobiles, motorcycles, tractors, airplanes. 
 
The raw materials for the preparation of anti-seismic tungsten wires are ammonium paratungstate (APT), ammonium metatungstate (AMT) and blue tungsten oxide(TBO). Generally speaking, blue tungsten has many advantages, such as high chemistry, good doping effect, large specific surface area and fast rate, the anti sag properties of tungsten wire can be further improved by the addition of blue tungsten. Therefore, the blue tungsten is widely used in the industry to prepare the anti-seismic tungsten wires.
 
In the early stage, the main elements doped with Si, Al and K were added to tungsten wire, and the high temperature resistance was increased greatly after addition of these elements. Later, it was found in the Si, Al, K on the basis of the addition of trace amounts of Fe or Co elements can improve the high temperature resistance of the tungsten wire, anti-sagging performance, which is the true sense of the anti-seismic tungsten wire. In recent years, with the development of science and technology industry, the early anti-seismic tungsten wire has been unable to meet the increasingly advanced aerospace, electronic and technical requirements, the rare earth elements such as rhenium, thorium or cerium are added on the basis of the original doped tungsten wire, the anti-seismic tungsten wire has higher wire sag resistance, shock resistance etc..
 
Unfortunately, although China is the main mining country of tungsten resources, the production of anti-seismic tungsten wire is still only at the initial stage, the factors such as the resistant tungsten wire and the quality instability have limited the development of tungsten wire in China. With the rapid development of aerospace manufacturing industry and electronics industry, the demand for anti-seismic tungsten wire will be increased, and the production technology of anti-seismic tungsten wire will be a long way to go.
