Tungsten Carbide Ball National Standard (JBT9145-2010) V

It is forbidden cracks and visible pits and holes on the surface of tungsten carbide ball, and the measurement and test methods also has rules:

1. For the size and shape tolerance of tungsten carbide ball measuring, it is based on the rules of CB/T 308.

2. For the surface toughness of tungsten carbide ball measuring, it is based on the rules of GB/T 10610.

3. The test of appearance is supposed to be observed under the floodlight.

4. Physical and mechanical properties test: Rockwell hardness testing follows the rules of CB/T 3849; porosity, non-combined carbon and macro pore testing follows the rules of GB/T 3849; and the bending strength testing should follow the rules of GB/T 3851.

In addition, the rule of the sampling of mechanical properties: Rockwell hardness or Vickers hardness testing and microstructure of detection by each batch of products (vacuum sintering furnace for each furnace, arbitration samples per case) to pick two, while picks six (5.25×6.5×20) of each batch in the test of bending strength. If one term does not match the rule of mechanical properties, we should double check and double sampling. If it is still unqualified, we can consider this batch as unqualified products.
