What is Tungsten Carbide?

Tungsten Carbide belongs to powder metallurgy products which based high hardness refractory metal carbide (WC, TiC) micron powder as a main component, and cobalt (Co) or nickel (Ni), molybdenum (Mo), as a binder, sintering in a vacuum oven or hydrogen restore oven.

• Excellent hot working performance: Hardness could be remained at 60 HRC under 900~1000 ℃
• Excellent wear resistance;
• High cutting speed;
• Long service life;

Tungsten Carbide are widely used as tool materials, such as turning, milling, planer, drill, boring tool for cutting cast iron, non-ferrous metals, plastics, chemical fiber, graphite, glass, stone and ordinary steel can also be used to cut heat-resistant steel, stainless steel, high manganese steel, tool steel and other difficult to machine materials. New carbide cutting tools, the cutting speed is hundreds of times equal to the carbon steel.
