Tungsten-Rhenium Wire Advantages and Specifications

Once the use of tungsten at high temperature after recrystallization becomes very brittle and subject to shock or vibration in the case of easily broken. Tungsten-rhenium wire in addition, 25% Re and 26% Re two tungsten-rhenium alloy frequently used, mainly for thermocouple materials! Tungsten-rhenium thermocouples main strengths in: a fast response. 2, wide temperature range up to 2500 ℃. But is generally used in an inert atmosphere or a reducing atmosphere, or need to add protective casing, generally of Mo alloy casing!
