Yellow Tungsten Oxide Hollow Sphere

Yellow tungsten oxide hollow sphere is also called tungsten trioxide hollow sphere or WO3 hollow sphere, which has two surfaces - internal surface and external surface. And it is the two surfaces that allow WO3 to use light reflected into the interior multiple times through reflection, and therefore WO3 has unique applications, such as photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B solution.

Many scholars use the hydrothermal method requiring higher temperature to prepare tungsten trioxide hollow sphere. Some scholars adopt the template method that can realize the preparation of WO3 hollow spheres at lower temperatures. For example, some experts use sulfonated styrene microspheres as a template and tungsten chloride as a source of tungsten, alcoholysis and hydrolysis of the reactors at 60 °C to form tungsten oxide precursor nanoparticles on the surface of sulfonated styrene microspheres, and then the template was removed by calcination to obtain yellow tungsten oxide hollow spheres.
