Fine-Grain Scheelite New Flotation Scheme

In view of the various reasons for the loss of fine grain scheelite in ore dressing, from different angles, the beneficiator put forward some selection methods for fine minerals, such as flotation column flotation, vacuum or decompression flotation, selective flocculation flotation, carrier flotation, two liquid flotation, electrochemical flotation, shear flocculation and so on, but it should be practical in practice. The effect is not obvious in the use of the process.

Recently, some scholars have proposed a new ore dressing method, which can be used to effectively deal with scheelite. The main contents are as follows: the particle size is 10~74 microns, the content of scheelite is 0.33 ~ 0.42%, the silica content of gangue mineral is 33.90 ~ 35.14%, and the content of calcium carbonate is 13.25 to 23.75%.

The fine grain scheelite mineral was dispersed in a mixing bucket with six sodium polyphosphate as dispersant, and then the fine grained scheelite mineral was graded by high frequency sifting. The fine grain scheelite mineral was recollected by the micro fine-grained bed, and then the fine particle size of scheelite concentrate with different grain levels was reclaimed. The fine grained tungsten tungsten concentrate is combined and concentrated to recover fine scheelite.

(3)When using shaker re-election, the stroke of the shaker is 9 to 13 mm and the number of strokes is 300 to 350 times/minute.

(4)In the flotation process, after the combined fine-grained scheelite coarse concentrate is added to the flotation cell, sodium carbonate is added to adjust the pH to 9 to 10, then water glass is added as gangue mineral inhibitor, and finally oleic acid is added. As a collector for fine-grained scheelite minerals, a fine-grained scheelite concentrate is selected after three times of rough-picking three times.

(5)The total dosage of the agent is: sodium hexametaphosphate 100 g/t; sodium carbonate 2000 g/t; water glass 3000 g/t; oleic acid 300 g/g.

The new flotation method can use lower-grade, fine-grained scheelite to obtain a higher scheelite grade and recovery rate, as well as a simple process structure, less dosage of chemicals, less energy consumption, and comprehensive recovery of resources.
