Special tungsten trioxide film is amorphous. Amorphous tungsten trioxide film surface is relatively flat, particle distribution is also very uniform. Tungsten trioxide thin film due to the higher degree of undercooling and lower atomic diffusion capacity, resulting in the atomic nucleation free energy will have a certain decline. As a result, the number of cores formed in this case will increase by a certain amount and it is relatively easy to form a relatively thin and uniform amorphous thin film structure.
The discoloration of the tungsten trioxide thin film refers to the transmission spectra and photographs of the colored and faded states obtained by potentiation polarization in a lithium acid solution. The original tungsten trioxide film is a transparent film. When potentiation polarization is applied at a voltage of -1 V, the tungsten trioxide thin film changes from clear to dark blue. When using a reverse voltage of 1.5V, the tungsten trioxide film is transparent from dark blue fading. Its original state after the insertion of lithium-ion colored state, and after extraction of lithium-ion fading state in the visible light modulation range up to 80%.
In the wavelength range we choose, we can see that the fading state of the prepared tungsten trioxide film is almost the same as that of its original state, which achieves the ideal reversibility. Tungsten trioxide films appear dark blue in color. When placed on top of normal paper, almost no font on the paper is visible. Tungsten trioxide has a very low transmittance and fading state is almost the same as the original one.
