Planetary Ball Mill

Planetary ball mill is a kind of high energy ball mill, which is mainly used in the preparation of ultrafine tungsten powder.

Planetary ball mill has two kinds — vertical and horizontal, the machine has two or four ball milling cans work at the same time. The main working principle is that the ball mill has rotation and revolution at the same time. The planetary mill has four ball milling tank at the same turntable, when the rotary table rotates, the ball milling tank revolves around the axis of the turntable and around its axis, as planetary motion. Because the motion of planetary mill is complicated, the force of grinding ball is very complicated too. In the process of ball milling, the inertia force of the grinding ball can be controlled by adjusting the revolution and rotation speed of the ball mill, so that the energy of the grinding ball is significantly improved, and the desired particle size effect is enhanced. 

The planetary ball mill is priced at around 10000 yuan, and the ball mill can be made of stainless steel, ceramic, nylon, polyamine, PTFE, zirconia, cemented carbide, silicon nitride, tungsten carbide, etc. Variable frequency speed control with program setting function at present, can achieve continuous unidirectional, continuous commutation, timing one-way, timing reversing four ways of program-controlled operation. With the development and progress of nanotechnology, the application of planetary ball mill will be more and more popular.
