Indonesia's Supreme Court ruled that it is illegal for government to ban tungsten ore export. That means that the government is required to follow the court's decision to lift the ban on raw mineral exports, the ban on ore export in 2014 may be changed.

Mansu, a senior office of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that it means that the government must draw up new mineral export regulations. "We must urge the Government to make action as soon as possible." He added. As the verdict ruled by Supreme Court, the ban on all minerals Ordinance will lose legal validity. : “Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources no longer has the power to control mineral exports, including the approved export quota."
