Tungsten carbide pulsed jet-flow is uncertain, which enhances the prompt impact of nozzle axis. Most of rocks are fragile and compressed energy will be stored in rock formations. When the cycle is unloading, the compressed energy inside the rocks is releasing on surface to swell, which pushing the rock crumbs out. However, when the tensile stress inside is exceeding the limit of rock, it will be broken. In addition, there are two characteristics of tungsten carbide pulsed nozzle using in drilling. One is the cycle of impact is discontinuous and uneven, another is lateral overflow with three patterns of purification (speed, kinetic energy, shear stress) moves the debris. Therefore, tungsten carbide pulsed nozzle has to be applied in many oil and gas fields, under the same conditions and relatively conventional continuous jet nozzle can be increased by 20% -40% penetration rate, drill footage increased by 15% -25%.
