Canadian Company Obtains Brazilian Rare Earth Concentrate

Canadian rare earth company has signed an agreement about purchasing Brazilian rare earth concentrate in Mata Azul mine. At present, Mata Azul ore mining rights owned by Mineracao Mata Azul company.

According to the agreement, Canada rare earth company has the right to purchase all rare earth concentrates in Mata Azul mine. The price is that the base price plus the percentage of the base price and the fair market. Agreement is valid for 20 years, and can be automatically postponed under certain circumstances.

Tracy, the chairman and CEP of Canadian rare earth company, said: "Rare earth concentrate in Mata Azul can meet the needs of a large smelting separation plant in Brazil, also give us a favorable condition to build some smelting separation company in the global important sites. we are currently in talks with several potential investors for further financing to build smelter with the production capacity of 10000 tons in Brazil. Whether negotiations with the investors are successful or not, the company is believed that there are potential long-term supply rare earth concentrate to do security , which will promote that the end users or other traditional commercial banks are willing to provide project funding. Once obtaining financing, and built concentrator, Mata Azul project will provide low-cost high-grade rare earth concentrate materials for our proposed big smelters' long-term operation, and the production of various rare earth oxides."
