Ministry of land and resources: China's rare earth resources identified three rare resources

Our three rare metal resources strategy research project recently completed the 2014 annual design review.

It is understood, the plan was established in 2012, the work cycle of 4 years, has 22 working project, led by Chinese adjusting local academy resource organization and implementation, participate in 12 of three rare resource rich provinces and part of the research institutes, colleges and universities.

The plan execution for more than two years, China has basically identified three rare resource conditions, established three dilute mineral lands database and sample database; through field investigation, test and analysis, remote sensing monitoring means an initial grasp of the basic situation of southern ion adsorption type rare earths mineral resources development, environmental pollution and reserves evaluation etc; tracking and research at home and abroad three dilute mineral resources utilization, beneficiation technology and market supply and demand situation; strengthen the prospecting of key regions and provinces of the deployment, and card peripheral achieved a major breakthrough in Sichuan methyl, accumulated new Li2O resource volume is expected to reach hundreds of thousands of tons, to achieve large-scale internal developed more than ten kinds; initial results report, published academic papers.

In three dilute mineral exploration work deployment, resource development and management, the project provides the technical support for the superior departments in charge, play a positive role in the organization of rare earth special inspection and other major activities.
