China August exports of rare earths grew

Headquartered in Hong Kong, China Customs Statistics Information Service Center (China Customs Statistics Information Center, abbreviated CCS) Tuesday quoted the General Administration of Customs said the data, China in August of rare earth ores, metals and compounds export volume of 2,352 tons.

Data show that in August export volume growth of 32.3%, an increase of 22.4%.

Data show that 1-8 months of this year, exports totaled 13,537 tons, an increase of 62.5%.

However, due to the global rare earth prices fell due to weaker demand, rare earth exports continue to decline. Data show that 1-August China Rare Earth Exports dropped 55.5 percent year on year, to $ 282 million.
