China's use of rare earth materials to capture the LED lighting world problems

Reporters from the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, learned that Chinese researchers developed a new type of LED light rare earth materials, an effective solution has been unable to break through the international exchange of LED lighting problems, making China the world's only master the technique.

LED lighting is the second incandescent, fluorescent lighting after another revolution, is recognized as the world's most promising high-efficiency lighting industries. LED light source using existing DC as a driver, at work must be approved by the AC and DC power conversion, energy consumption, heat tolerance, and high cost. The AC LED lighting strobe issues in the international arena has not been possible to break.

Changchun Institute Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Sony source collaboration in 2006 new AC LED lighting technology research and development, after six years of unremitting exploration and development, has developed a new type of LED light rare earth materials, recently organized by the Chinese Academy of results identification.

The Group believes that the technology from the source to solve the bottleneck problem of AC LED Strobe and DC and AC drives exist some technical problems. Meanwhile, the results with the existing LED products, compared with a low heat, energy conversion efficiency, small size and other advantages, we can improve the service life of more than 2 times, energy consumption and costs were reduced by 15% and 20%.

At present, the products have passed China and the U.S. Underwriters Laboratories, the Federal Communications Commission, the European unification and EU environmental certification, and exported to America, Canada, Mexico, Spain, Brazil and other countries.
