European ferro-tungsten market still expecting further price increases.

The start of the new week has brought about further increases in the ferro-tungsten prices in the European market, with concluded business between USD45.50-46.00kg W d.d.p to European steel plants on Monday, up USD0.50kg W from last week. 

With new shipments of material from the large Vietnamese ferro-tungsten producer now not expected to leave until June because of current production difficulties at the plant, offering prices of material held by suppliers in Rotterdam have increased to highs of USD47.00kg W in warehouse Rotterdam as of Monday.
