On Monday, tungsten prices continued their upward trend. The raw material side maintained a strong bullish sentiment, with downstream tungsten product prices passively following the rise, though overall demand feedback remained weak.

The tungsten market showed a mix of optimism and caution, with a slow pace of transactions. Coupled with the complexity of the macroeconomic environment, participants largely adopted a cautious stance.

The price of 65% black tungsten concentrate surpassed RMB 150,000/ton. Supply was constrained due to reduced output, tightened mining quotas, and stricter environmental regulations, leading to tight market resources and widespread reluctance to sell among holders. On the demand side, high-price apprehension limited procurement enthusiasm, with transactions mainly driven by essential restocking. High-priced resources saw weak turnover, resulting in a "price without market" situation.

Ammonium paratungstate (APT) prices broke through the RMB 220,000/ton mark due to cost factors. However, weak demand constrained the market, with smelting companies reporting pressure from inverted margins. Overall market trading enthusiasm was low, with few spot orders.

Tungsten powder was priced at RMB 328/kg, and tungsten carbide powder at RMB 323/kg. Raw material costs and high-end demand provided price support, but trade frictions and weak traditional demand led to a stalemate in market trading. Both supply and demand sides remained in a tug-of-war.

The price of 70% ferrotungsten stabilized around RMB 223,000/ton. Limited supply resources and a cautious demand atmosphere prevailed, with recent cost support keeping the market relatively firm, though actual trading was driven by essential needs.

Waste tungsten prices remained stable. Due to supply-demand dynamics and external uncertainties, a risk-averse sentiment emerged in the market. Traders maintained a follow-the-market strategy with cautious trading sentiment, and the focus of recent transactions remained relatively steady.
