China's Molybdenum Products Imports and Exports from January to April 2025

CTIA GROUP LTD has compiled the import and export data of Chinese molybdenum products released by the General Administration of Customs as follows: From January to April 2025, China's cumulative molybdenum product imports totaled 29,675.05 tons, an increase of 34.48% year-on-year; the cumulative import value was 4.323 billion yuan, an increase of 42.48% year-on-year.

In the first four months, China's imports of roasted molybdenum ores and concentrates were 4,043.75 tons, an increase of 77.12% year-on-year; other molybdenum ores and concentrates were 21,183.16 tons, an increase of 39.52% year-on-year; molybdenum oxides and hydroxides were 412.40 tons, a decrease of 54.49% year-on-year; ammonium molybdate was 709.51 tons, an increase of 175.12% year-on-year; other molybdates were 448.18 tons, a decrease of 23.43% year-on-year; ferromolybdenum was 2,776.46 tons, an increase of 1.78% year-on-year; molybdenum powder was 1.02 tons, a decrease of 27.46% year-on-year; unwrought molybdenum, including bars and rods simply sintered, was 10.54 tons, an increase of 526,650.00% year-on-year; molybdenum bars, rods, profiles, sections, plates, sheets, strips, and foils were 72.42 tons, a decrease of 32.61% year-on-year; molybdenum wire was 7.97 tons, an increase of 24.21% year-on-year; and other molybdenum products were 9.66 tons, an increase of 22.98% year-on-year.

From January to April 2025, China's cumulative molybdenum product exports totaled 13,510.88 tons, an increase of 0.90% year-on-year; the cumulative export value was 2.863 billion yuan, a decrease of 5.52% year-on-year.

In the first four months, China's exports of roasted molybdenum ores and concentrates were 4,909.81 tons, an increase of 16.18% year-on-year; other molybdenum ores and concentrates were 3,173.93 tons, an increase of 31.46% year-on-year; molybdenum oxides and hydroxides were 773.02 tons, a decrease of 47.89% year-on-year; ammonium molybdate was 115.11 tons, a decrease of 41.98% year-on-year; other molybdates were 128.99 tons, an increase of 4.96% year-on-year; ferromolybdenum was 2,502.15 tons, an increase of 0.49% year-on-year; molybdenum powder was 6.61 tons, a decrease of 92.07% year-on-year; unwrought molybdenum, including bars and rods simply sintered, was 722.66 tons, a decrease of 36.70% year-on-year; molybdenum bars, rods, profiles, sections, plates, sheets, strips, and foils were 253.11 tons, an increase of 2.05% year-on-year; molybdenum wire was 97.94 tons, an increase of 6.12% year-on-year; molybdenum waste and scrap were 762.43 tons, a decrease of 6.01% year-on-year; and other molybdenum products were 65.13 tons, a decrease of 17.09% year-on-year.
