Japan: use LED lights cultivate tea can harvested 10 times a year

It is reported that, a tea processing plant in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, using the red and green LED lights to pesticide-free cultivation of tea seedlings indoor. This new cultivation methods not only simple operation, the tea breed but also safe and nutritious.

The plant LED lighting 24-hour continuous to make room temperature maintained within 22-23℃. It is indoor cultivation that do not have to worry about germs and pests, so no use of pesticides in the process of cultivating. In addition, water and nutrients required by the tea is from the seedbed of sprinkler device.

Tea usually able to harvest three times a year. LED lighting 24-hour continuous, then the cultivate speeds up to 6 times compared to the original, can harvest 10 times a year. This cultivation method is not affected change of seasons. The tea harvest throughout the year can provide the raw material for production of tea cuisine.
