High Purity Titanium Production in China

It is reported that a project called "an annual output of 250 tons of electronic extremely hypoxic high purity titanium " put into operation in China in July 1th, 2014. Not only does the high purity titanium fill gaps in the relevant industries and technology, but also break the monopoly of the developed countries in this project.

As a high-end strategic metal material, titanium has lots of characteristics,such as light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance. Titanium metal has always been strategic material for aircraft manufacturing and aerospace industry ,playing an important role in national security and national defense construction . At present, only the United States and Japan can produce high purity titanium in the world. As a high-end metal material, the United States strictly limit its exports to China.

The total investment of the project is 200 million yuan, sales income will be put into 400 million yuan. The project with international advanced technology level, has many advantages of low energy consumption, no toxic emissions. The high purity titanium will promote the transformation and upgrading of China's military, aerospace, medical equipment and other high-end enterprises.
