Nano tungsten trioxide has been employed in the production of office building thermal insulating glass coating in recent years. And the coating film formed on the glasses of office building allows the user to changing the amount of heat or light passing through. It has been reported that nano tungsten trioxide is an ultraviolet shielding nanomaterial, which can be combined with near-infrared long-wave shielding nanomaterial and near-infrared short-wave shielding nanomaterial to form a high-performance transparent office building thermal insulating glass coating.

According to the report, the composite heat-insulating glass coating (spray agent) contains 30-50% of inorganic nano-ceramic resin, 3-10% of ultraviolet shielding nanomaterial, 5-20% of near-infrared short-wave shielding nanomaterial, 5-15% of near-infrared long-wave shielding nanomaterial, 0.2-0.5% of leveling agent, 0.2-1% of curing agent, and the remaining amount is solvent. The sprayed glass remained scratch-free for 7 days after the surface was cured. The near-infrared short-wave shielding nanomaterial is composed of one or two kinds of substances such as ammonium metatungstate or cesium carbonate; the near-infrared long-wave shielding nanomaterial is 30wt% ITO dispersion or 30wt% ATO dispersion.
