So, how about the thermal insulation performance of such a building glass thermal insulating coating of cesium tungsten bronze? Some experts mixed Cs0.32WO3 nanorod powder with silicone resin to prepare a transparent heat-insulating coating, and then coated on blank glass to obtain a heat-insulating glass sample. Then, UV-VIS-NIR spectroscopy was used to characterize the thermal insulation properties. The results show that the near-infrared transmittance of the blank glass is 82%, and the thermal insulating glass is only 11.7%, which is 70.3% lower than that of the blank glass. It shows that the Cs0.32WO3 nanorod powder has good near-infrared absorption performance.
