In order to improve the electrochromic spectral modulation amplitude, discoloration response speed, and discoloration efficiency of tungsten trioxide thin films, the experts take tungsten trioxide as the main research object, and optimize the electrochromic performance of WO3 by means of porosity, nano-array, and organic compounding. The experts also explored the electrochromic properties of the WO3 electrochromic thin film in the infrared band, and assembled a gel-type all-solid-state prototype device based on the complementary color changing mechanism of WO3 and NiO. All these researches and explorations are aimed at realizing the application of tungsten oxide in smart windows.
