According to the experts, when they studied the luminescence mechanism of tungsten oxide nanomaterials, two broad luminous bands were observed in the photoluminescence spectrum of the tungsten oxide nanowire film (WO3-x nanowire film), namely the ultraviolet emission band with a center wavelength of 395nm and the blue light emission band with a center wavelength of 460nm. Moreover, the experts demonstrated that the blue light emission band of WO3-x nanowire thin film belongs to the intrinsic luminescence of WO3, and the ultraviolet emission band belongs to the luminescence caused by the oxygen vacancy in the material, and this defect state is a resonance state in the conduction band of WO3. In addition, they also found that the emission intensity of the ultraviolet emission band has a strong dependence on the excitation wavelength.
