Step One: Prepare a 45% sodium tungstate aqueous solution, adjust the pH of the solution to 6.5 with maleic acid, and hydrothermally react in a high-pressure reaction kettle for 12 hours. The obtained precipitate is filtered, concentrated and crystallized to obtain seed crystal.

Step Two: Add the seed crystal to a 42% sodium tungstate solution to obtain a mixture of the sodium tungstate solution and the seed crystal, and the mass ratio of the seed crystal to the sodium tungstate in the solution is 1: 4.5.

Step Three: Place the above mixture in a stainless steel high-pressure reaction kettle. Under the condition of strong stirring at 220 °C, the hydrothermal reaction was carried out for 12 hours. After that, stop stirring, and the slurry was obtained after cooling to room temperature.

Step Four: The prepared slurry is filtered and washed to obtain a filter cake and a mother liquor, and the filter cake is baked at 350 °C to obtain ultra-fine tungsten trioxide.
