Tungsten oxide nanoparticles may be used for producing an energy efficient building glass – smart glass. And the raw material WO3 nanopowder is cathode electrochromic material that can be prepared by pulsed DC reactive magnetron sputtering method, wherein the metal W and tungsten-titanium alloy are used as targets. The so-called cathode electrochromic material means that the material is colorless in the high-valent oxidation state, and is colored in the low-cost reduced state.
