Doped Tungsten Oxide Applied for Transparent Heat Insulation Material

Doped tungsten oxide is an important raw material for preparing a transparent heat insulation material with great development potential. The prepared thermal insulating glass coating is increasingly being applied in the field of building glass. Some experts used tungstic acid as the tungsten source, CsCl and RbCl as the cesium source and the rubidium source, and prepared a variety of alkali metal single or co-doped tungsten oxide nano powders by one-step solvothermal method.

The experts also characterized the products by UV-VIS-NIR, Zeta potential, XRD, SEM, and EDS. The results showed that the obtained product had the characteristics of good crystals, no impurity phase, a particle size of 20-100nm, a surface potential of -43.6eV, and good dispersibility. When the transmittance of the Cs and Rb co-doped tungsten oxide powders is more than 70%, the shielding ratio at 1300nm is 92.2%. Compared with CsxWO3 and RbxWO3, the near-infrared shielding performance of co-doped tungsten oxide nano powder is superior.
