Specifically, two pieces of glass of 150mm×100mm×5mm, one piece of glass is coated with transparent heat-insulating coating (just one side), the other is a blank glass, two hollow boxes, thermometer, exposure to the sun, testing the temperature inside the box at different times, the results show that:

At the beginning of the contrast test between the coated glass and the blank glass, the temperature in both chambers increased, after 1h, the temperature gradually increased. Throughout the process, the temperature of the compartment in which the coating is applied is always lower than the temperature on the side where the coating is not applied. After 0.5h of irradiation, the difference between the two room temperatures reached 5°C, and the temperature difference increased with time. After 12h, the air temperature difference was 7°C. It can be seen that the tungsten oxide transparent heat-insulating coating has obvious heat-insulating effect in summer.
