Cesium tungsten oxide particles, or cesium tungsten bronze particles, may be applied for producing near infrared shielding material such as thermal insulation dispersion. As is well known, infrared ray, also known as infrared radiation, thermal radiation or heat ray, is a part of non-ionizing radiation belonging to the invisible band. The infrared ray can be classified into near-infrared, mid-infrared and far-infrared. Among them, the near-infrared band is 780nm to 1400nm.

The infrared radiation source in nature is the strongest in the sunlight, and its infrared energy accounts for 46%. In other words, whether it is outdoors or indoors, your eyes are constantly receiving infrared damage. Its radiation is deeper into the fundus than ultraviolet light, which means that near-infrared light is the light that is more likely to cause eye diseases. Therefore, we need to shield the near infrared rays as much as possible. In terms of architecture, since ordinary glass does not have the effect of shielding near-infrared rays, we need to apply thermal insulation dispersion to form a layer of thermal insulation film with the performance of shielding near-infrared and ultraviolet rays, and finally shield most of the harmful radiation in the sunlight. In this regard, experts say that cesium tungsten bronze nano dispersion is an excellent near-infrared absorbing agent that can meet the above-mentioned building applications.
