A preparation method of nanometer cesium tungstate powder comprises the following steps:

Step one: According to n (Cs)/n (W) =0.33:1, the cesium salt and the tungsten salt are dissolved in a citric acid solution and an alcohol solvent. After stirring uniformly, the reaction is carried out at 180-200°C for 2-3 hours to obtain tungsten and cesium mixture;

Step two: Add appropriate amount of urea to the mixture of tungsten and cesium, adjust the pH of the reaction solution to 3-5, stir until the urea is completely dissolved;

Step three: The mixed solution in step two is completely washed with argon gas, and subjected to chemical reaction under ultrasonic irradiation for 7-6 hours under the protection of argon gas at 70-90°C to obtain a gelatinous precipitate;

Step four: The gelatinous precipitate is aged for 4-24 hours, then filtered, washed, dried, and finally calcined to obtain nano cesium tungstate powder.
